Sticky Rice with Sausage
Ingredients:
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Sweet rice (sticky rice)
  • Chinese sausages
  • Roasted peanuts (please use discretion!)
  • Oyster sauce
  • Soya sauce
  • Green onions
Steps:
  1. Steam sweet rice in rice cooker with just over a half cup of water for every cup of rice
  2. Cut desired number of Chinese sausages into thin slices
  3. Chop green onions into small cubes
  4. Crush roasted peanuts (if not hazardous)
  5. Wait until the rice is almost cooked; then,
  6. Fry sausage slices, dried shrimps, chopped green onions and oyster sauce in oil
  7. Add soya sauce to sticky rice and mix (with a large spoon)
  8. Add fried contents to sticky rice and mix
  9. Springle crushed roasted peanuts on sticky rice and serve
